Build-A-Bot Robotics Workshop is a hands-on learning experience to introduce students to Robotics. This workshop is aimed at ages 8-14 and teaches students to build and program a robot using the VEX IQ Robotics platform. Students work in small teams to build and program a robot that can perform tasks. Students will learn the basic concepts of Robotics, such as sensors, motors, and programming logic. Students will learn to work collaboratively with their team members and present their ideas. This class is designed for students entering the program during the spring semester to learn skills that will equip them for participation in the upcoming 2024-2025 session with the competitive team.
